Hi! I’m Catalina, a part-time online blogger and youtuber, originally from… well, for now, let’s say New York City.  In my free time I enjoy traveling, animal photography, cooking and museum hopping.

In 2006, I first started this blog as a personal blog, which grew into a school project for a Japanese class in college.  During my senior year in college I started youtubing under the unsername cl2425.  I needed a corresponding blog that could substitute my youtube activity and this blog was naturally converted to fulfill that need.   With an intention to be used as a ‘haul and review’ blog, the main objective of this blog was, and still is, to deliver great quality photos, honest reviews and a good level of engagement with the readers.
*Added July 2017: I’ve been on and off from 2013 to 2017-ish since shying away from all online activities in 2013.  Like many aspects of my life, as of 2017, the purpose of this blog has altered to incorporate more aspects of current events and interests in my life.

Born in Albuquerque, NM, I have resided in Raleigh, NC; Atlanta, GA; Seoul, Korea; Hwasoon, Korea; San Diego, CA; San Francisco, CA;  New York, NY; Dallas, TX and Los Angeles, CA.  While growing up, I spent most of my time in the states with an exception of a couple of years in Korea.  At the current moment, I am working/living in sunny Los Angeles, CA.

Other than makeup and online activities, I try to participate in saving endangered wildlife animals.  Out of all, I am especially interested in saving penguins, snow leopards, parrots and polar bears.  As an avid animal lover (and based on personal values), I’ve been a vegetarian since 2008.

My life long activities have been a melange of creative endeavors.  Other than online blogging and youtubing, I have written and published three novels when I was a teen, and have also wrote numerous columns for various magazines in Korea.  When I was a kid, I happened to be one of the ‘singing kids’ in various English-Korean educational programs in Korea.
