My First pigment.. small sizes? samples?
Hi!
What’s the “official” way of calling these.. small scoops of pigments? :p
sample sizes?
Anyway, I was watching my makeup collection video and while I’m going through my pigments (I only have a few), I blurt out “I don’t even know why I buy them. I never use these”.
Well, I figured out why I buy them and why I never use them and why I feel like an idiot for buying them.
I think I buy pigments because the jar is pretty and the pigment colors are equally pretty too. Once you grab the jar in the store you feel envision yourself doing all sorts of amazing looks with it. And people always say that pigments will last you FOREVER, so you feel like you’re getting an awesome deal when you buy the jar. The problem is, pigments are crumby and hard to use as an everyday thing when you’re busy in the morning and not used to doing so. Special occasions? – well, it’s not like you have special occasions oh-so-often, then that wouldn’t be special or so :p
But anyway, enough of my babbling, let’s cut to the chase.
After thinking about my pigment situation – I decided to change my strategies.
first buy small sample (?) sizes – and if I like it enough, then buy the big regular sized bottles.
So after searching for a while I found a seller that sells authentic pigment samples at the cheapest rate. Click here to view her store.
* tip: If you are dubious about authenticity issues from online sellers – just ask them directly if the product is authentic. Amazingly enough, people still have conscientiousness and if they aren’t selling real stuff they start to write really long explanations and talk nonsense. So if you are doubtful and can’t really tell if the products are fake or not, just ask or do some research on the seller

– Tan 1/4 tsp
– Melon 3/4 tsp
– Jardin Aires 1/2 tsp
– Steel Blue 1/2 tsp

It was 24 dollars in total 🙂 I think it’s a great deal for the price!
