I had a video inviting people to my blogtv up on youtube yesterday, and it’s the story of my life, but things didn’t go all that well. I haven’t been on blogtv for over a year and I wasn’t expecting any technical difficulties. But as soon as I popped in, I realized I couldn’t get my isight working and it took almost 4 hours to figure out what the problem was :/

I really wanted to apologize to those that waited and had to go with disappointment. I felt so bad, I was sweating and stressing out. I’m really really sorry things went down like that.

I kind of came to a realization that I really don’t talk about myself….. at all. I’ve always thought there’s nothing really interesting about me, but I guess it’s just genuine curiosity that’s been bugging a lot of people. So I decided to write a few things about me while I have my blog out 🙂

Most of the topics will be addressed based on frequent questions I get on blogtv.

Where do you live?

I live in New York city. Like smack middle of the damn city. That is why you can always hear the sirens in my videos. This place is like a freakin zoo.

A lot of people fantasize about New York, but I always show this bitter attitude towards the city, driving people into confusion. I don’t hate New York, but I’m not a fan of it either. I guess it’s because I never really considered New York as ‘home’ or a place to live permanently. I came to New York with a purpose (to attend school), and I have not found a good enough reason to move out yet. I feel like a long-term traveler waiting for my train to come and take me to my next destination. I do feel like my stay is coming to an end. I have been contemplating about moving out for a while and hopefully *crosses fingers* I can move out in 2011.

A lot of people ask me ‘where’ from New York I come from. Like explained above, I’m not from New York. I came here in 2005, and have lived in Manhattan ever since. I wish I had an answer to “where” I’m from, but I don’t really have a solid hometown.

Where are you from then?

Hard to say! haha. I’ve been constantly moved around since I was a kid. I was born in New Mexico, then lived in North Carolina, Georgia, Korea, San Diego and here and there for short periods of time.

Who do you watch on Youtube? Favorite guru?

I don’t have a favorite guru. I don’t even have time to take care of my channel to be honest :p. I don’t think I have enough time to keep up with any particular person’s channel. What I usually do is look up videos I need to watch. For example, if I wanted a review video on a product or a swatch, I would look up the search terms and watch videos regardless of whoever the guru is.

Gurus I used to watch are xteeener (one of the first gurus I started watching), fafinettex3 (mostly hauls and reviews), fuzkittie, jeerawan (funny vlogger), ginabinawina99, claire 0147.

I still like to watch videos but they are just random videos without favoring anyone. hehe

BB Creams?

I didn’t have a good opinion about them, and then I sort of started to like them, and finally I concluded that I’m not a big fan of them. I feel like I’m more of a foundation person. It’s primarily because of the coverage issue.

I feel like coverage is tinted moisturizer < BB cream
